FIFA is going to increase total prize money for 2018 FIFA World Cup ready to kick off just over 2 years from now. In 2014 World Cup total prize money was around $576 million which distributed between 32 participant teams with $100 player insurance and $70 million payments made to clubs whose players played in the competition. Germany the winners of 2014 World Cup took $35 million and runners up Argentina $25 million.FIFA’s annual earning was $4.8 billion in the year 2014 and made expenses $2.7 billion which make profit of $2.1 billion.TV rights is one of the major source of revenue for FIFA and they sold it for $2.4 billion.

FIFA world cup 2018 is host russia tournament will be held between 14 June to 15 July 2016. Total 32 team going to participate on the tournament dividing into eight group. Top two team of the group will qualify for the next round. Russia already qualified for the 2018 FIFA world cup as host country.
